Kris Holt04.29.2020A New Year, a new iPhone 5 ad -- 'Dream'
A new iPhone 5 ad has just shown up on YouTube. "Dream," oddly enough, highlights the one feature of the iPhone 5 that wasn't working properly this morning -- Do Not Disturb. In this case, Do Not Disturb is being used to keep a nice dream going ... a dream in which the narrator is playing table tennis against the Williams sisters, and winning. Thanks to Andrew for the tip!
Steve Sande01.01.20132K Sports distances itself from sexy Serena Williams Top Spin 4 ad
An advertisement for Top Spin 4 has made its way onto the internet, but it's not what one would call "official." Featuring Serena Williams, the ad was definitely made with 2K Sports' money and effort. We've attempted to get an official statement from 2K Sports, but the company doesn't appear to want to talk until it's eliminated every instance of the video from the internet. The ad was originally posted on YouTube by the actress featured in the commercial -- apparently she wasn't satisfied with 2K Sports' decision to cancel the public release. Update: 2K Sports' official statement: "As part of the process for creating marketing campaigns to support our titles, we pursue a variety of creative avenues. This video is not part of the title's final marketing campaign and its distribution was unauthorized."
Alexander Sliwinski03.21.2011Conan takes on Serena in Wii Tennis
What should you do when you have a former World Number 1 ranked tennis player on your late night talk show? Challenge her to Wii Tennis, of course! That's what Conan O'Brien decided to do last night when he had Serena Williams on as a guest. We caution the little ones to avoid direct eye contact with O'Brien's scantily-clad body, as the sheer paleness reflects light and can blind you. Look closely and you'll see that the production team made Miis of the host and guest. We won't give away the final score, but it was a close game. Video embedded after the break.[Thanks, Sam]
